Ron Baker. That’s my name.

Middle-aged (which gets older each year).  If hitting 70 makes me older, I’m there!

I live in Calgary, Alberta.  Much of my life was spent in my birthplace, Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Canada. My grandfather homesteaded here in 1908. My family left in the 1950s shortly after I was born. I returned most recently to Kindersley in 2005, retired there in 2015 and then left to be with family in Calgary in 2024.

I’m currently retired, while keeping my fingers in writing, mentoring, researching and resting.

I have two children, Allison (married to Scott, with grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah and Thomas) and my son, Tim. I was widowed in 2012, after 35 wonderful years of marriage to Jill.  Remarried in 2013 to Cynthia, now with four more children to add to the family mix.
