The following pictures are presented for the grandparents and great grandparents!

Our Grandson, Christopher, at Dore Lake in July.  Such a handsome young man at eight months old.

Paul and Ariss Sutherland with Kaleb.  Paul is my wife’s nephew.  They were through town within the last 24 hours.  A surprise visit — they are moving to Salmon Arm, BC from Thunder Bay, ON.  We’re glad they detoured through Kindersley.

I am a reforming administrator!

For years I have tried to get everything and everyone in order.  By that, I mean, I am a bit of a perfectionist.  One of my great loves in life is to sit in a chaotic room and turn it into something beautiful.

When my children were small I would take their plates from under their noses — just to make sure the table looks nice.  I still straighten out grocery shelves and put up litter!

But my good wife has tried to reform me.  So I do overlook rubbish and let the stocking clerk at the grocery store do their job.

But!!!  The last two days I attacked our “office.”  We moved it upstairs and in doing so I decided I didn’t want to move anymore than I had to.  So I tirelessly (OK, I was tired at the end of the day) sorted and threw out, filed and fussed.

Now ’tis the end of the day.  And I am greatly refreshed.  Oh for another room to clean (spoken softly behind my wife’s back!!).

Two weeks later!

I’m back at a computer!

For two weeks we explored the non-internet world.  A world where I seldom wore a watch – or seldom needed to refer to one.  Where every day I read a new book.  Where every day I wandered down to the shore to view the water’s expanse.  Where everyday I did the dishes (while my wife cooked).

Oh, the cabin life is a great one!

Pictures to follow!
