And by that I don’t necessarily mean those who sit at home and rock back and forth in a comfortable chair!
I was reading the PC Magazine and came across a listing of top unknown websites. Great fun!
On of those was a site of live concerts. Mostly rock concerts from past years. For live recordings, they are not bad!
You can hear some of those concerts that you missed when you were growing up (either you were not yet born, or you were but couldn’t afford to attend). Everything from Alabama to Crosby, Still, Nash and Young. Check it out — click here.
Hey Howdy Ron
I’m listening to Randy Bachman’s show Vinyl Tap and catching up on some bloggers. Enjoyed this post…. I like how Randy tells stories about the people he knows and how their songs and careers came about. He’s been around and he knows folks and remembers their stories. hmmmmm.
So your folks are La Fleche, just a stone’s throw away! Let me know when you are down, I’ll come over for a coffee.
New things, old things. An old blessing goes ‘may no new thing arise’. Sorta counter intiuitive to our culture of change. A smooth path is scorned, yet pursued as we try to deaden pain and avoid conflict. Thank God for the promise of Jesus, “I am with you always.”
Have a great day of the Lord tomorrow.
