I find it hard to slow down.
And then I realize that I shed extra stress, can include new and creative opportunities and generally get time to rest.
No wonder the Bible talks about being on the Jesus path is all about entering the rest.
Just wish it wasn’t so hard to rest!
Well, the COVID-19 spiral has landed me up as a possible temporary funeral director.
As the local funeral home was updating their preparedness, they are looking for local people who could serve as funeral directors if their certified staff are unavailable. There are some others in town more qualified than me.
Nevertheless, I got on the list. I’ve assisted with funerals and have officiated funerals as a pastor.
And I guess that makes me qualified.
Of course, there would be paperwork and decisions beyond my pay grade, but in the end the expectation is that I would be approved.

Just reading a news release from Appia Energy.
They have found a rare earth deposit that should make for good mining prospects. They express a very optimistic future. At the end in the fine print is the following (how to protect the prophets of our day and age!!).
