Our son Tim was on his way for a few days of holiday. The road had the frost coming out of it, wind whipping across it, and snow sticking to it. Parts were fine, and then a patch of not so fine!
As he turned a corner in the road, the tires began to slide and the car headed into the ditch. One front tire caught and the car turned onto it’s roof.
Thankfully, very thankfully, Tim only sustained a strained finger, some cuts and a hit on the head.
As he crawled from the car, after releasing the seat belt, a few cars streamed by. Finally an older lady came by in a truck, a 4X4. His ride to Rosetown was completed – he sat in a coffee shop and I was able to pick him up shortly thereafter.
And that is the adventure of the day!!
