Well, we arrived home last night amidst water on the basement floor – our water heater had just begun to leak. Thank God that the whole thing hadn’t broken completely open and gushed forth waves of water. As it happened, one box got a bit wet, and nothing else.
So, this morning the first order of business was to get a plumber over. The job was done by supper time and we were washing our clothes shortly thereafter.
Now, it’s time to get back into the groove. We bought some groceries and ran across 3 or 4 friends. After chatting we finally got home with a reminder that home is a great place to be!!
