“Is this why I live?”
I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, 26 so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.
Ron, I think that although losing Jill is so painful, her mission here with us was complete. Underneath this all, for me, is the peace that passeth understanding. As i think back to the 11 years with us in PA, she did the good work God had for her, and did it so well. To encourage, mentor, teach, mother, partner….and all with the strength God gave her. She truly exemplified doing all things through Christ’s strength. Yes, Jill, that is why you lived!!!! And thank you for all of it!!! Now, enjoy the reward….

I’m reminded of this verse, “For me to live is Christ..to die is gain.” That’s exactally how Jill Lived and now is in Heaven. Thanks be to God that I had such a Faithful sister!!..
