One busy day

Give me 24 hours and see what I can pack into it!

On Sunday afternoon I left for Lafleche, Saskatchewan to make a final check of the house I am in charge of!  As executor, the accountability is mine in the final stretch.  Meanwhile my very capable sister keeps things in great shape.

So, over 800 kilometers later – with a van load of materials and a house examined and ready (almost) for a full-time renter – I arrived home 24 hours later.

I asked myself why I didn’t write this blog yesterday.  Perhaps there are some days just left as they are!  And so, as the evening wore on I wore out.

And now this morning I’m up and running.  Off to a funeral, to visit a lady in a manor, to oversee a survey, to work with a couple on financial planning and to sit in on a community committee on drug and alcohol awareness.  Should be a good day!

    Hi Ron…

It is good that you are keeping well and busy. These jobs of cleaning up stuff and making decisions at times is hard…it was for our parents…that is why it is sometimes still her to be dealt with.

Jean Weir (Davidson) wife of Dave, died 31 Aug ..with funeral in Regina 13 Sep after many years of cancer.

Tell Ernal Plum that Thomas Thornton from Kindersley and late of Calgary has moved to Comox, BC. How are Muriel and Ernal doing?

Is your mother doing ok in the nursing home? I haven’t been out your way but will try and stop in again sometime. I was going to talk about your retiral fund, but now that you are helping with financial planning maybe that isn;t necessary…just kiddin.

Val Hooge died recently along with Don Bubna…Carol Rose visited Tim and family this past week. Have you been on their blog?

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Have so much appreciated you and Jill and your parents over the years.

    All the best,

    Harry
