I expected this. I prepared for it.
But when the day comes that you begin to think, to stretch, advance. Running comes to mind. The wind in the ears. The sprint to reach your destination. There is some kind of adrenalin involved. Perhaps a bit of competitiveness.
So today at physio I mentioned that I seemed to be advancing but wasn’t out running yet.
"Your running days are over!", the physio therpaist asserted. Nicely. Definitively.
I guess I can still cover the same ground, just a little slower!
